This is a mug to cup your hands around.  And it’s a beauty. Hand thrown in iron-rich stoneware, local to the Sheffield area in the North of England where these are made, each mug is glazed (almost but not entirely) in a simple ‘Nori’ glaze. A little foot ring of stoneware is left visibly unglazed on each mug and the makers mark is stamped into the base. You know this of course, but no two mugs will be the same, they’re handmade, so that’s the whole point! [also available in white]
