THE ACCOUTREMENTS OF COFFEE

NEW MAKER

I actually NEED coffee, WE need coffee in our house before the day can get going in any meaningful way. But not mediocre coffee. Really good, strong, knock-your-socks-off coffee. And if we go away it becomes a priority to find good coffee (…we have been know to travel with our stove-top coffee pot to ensure that espresso hit, see above camping trip image). So it’s no surprise that the accoutrements of this serious business have real significance and that they’ve made their way into the Simple Shape shop.

We have recently added beautiful Sycamore and Walnut scoops by Slow Made Goods to our collection. We also have lidded jars and cups of all sizes (see below) to complete the ceremony.

I do like a lovely cup of Earl Grey in the afternoon and there’s nothing to stop you scooping loose leaf tea with one of these either. I really shouldn’t be so prescriptive…!
